2025 dates coming soon | Lima, Urubamba Sacred Valley, & Cusco, Peru
Journey to the Sacred Valley
Tara is excited to invite you to Peru and the Sacred Valley of the Incas exploring ancient ruins, temples and one of the world's most beautiful and fascinating sites on the planet Machu Picchu. In the caring and expert hands of our guides Poppy and Edward we will experience an adventure like none other as we explore the land, the people, the culture and the ancient mysteries of what many believe to be our Star Ancestors.
Knowing that there's more to the story of earth than what mainstream history records, we'll explore other ideas and concepts on the purpose of these ancient ruin sites. With yogic practices and our intuition along with local shamans and guides from the area we will align with the energies of the land and sites to open to the wisdom held there.
Visiting the ancient sites that still stand today not only takes our breath away, but allows for the expansion of our minds beyond conventional norms as it opens us up to the limitless nature of reality and who we really are. Deepen your connection to the mysteries of life and Self through gentle yoga, transformative meditation and ceremony. Enjoy the land, the sky, the elements, the cuisine and like minded truth seekers all held in the safety and comfort of our guides expertise.

The Sacred Valley is commonly overlooked on normal Machu Picchu trips. This is our favorite part of the entire experience! It's like the Garden of Eden filled with exotic vegetation, hummingbirds, and loving people. We have some destinations that took us years to find on our own. We are excited to share them with you!
Day 3 – We will fly into Cusco in the morning and take a van to Urubamba. This drive is through the Andes Mountains but is often missed by tourists taking a train straight to Machu Picchu. During this 2-hour van ride, we will make stops to experience the Sacred Valley and take pictures along the way. We will be staying at Andean Wings, a boutique hotel. Once we get settled in we will have an evening optional hike in the Urubamba Ruins. Otherwise, you are free to relax and take a little bit of time for yourself in Urubama.
Day 4 – We will hike (30 minutes) to a place that the locals called "El Paraiso" - so literally The Paradise. Can you imagine what Paradise looks like in Paradise? Hummingbirds the size of Robins. A gorgeous river. A beautiful picnic prepared by local chefs in a "parilla" (barbeque) style. We are going to visit a magical portal and complete the day at the Cerveceria Del Valle which is a micro-brewery nestled in the Andes Mountains.
Day 5 – Lake Day! Today we will be taking it a little easier to prepare for our Machu Picchu trip. We will go to the Laguna Huaypo for paddleboarding and kayaking. For lunch we will have a picturesque picnic lunch with wine, fruit, nuts, breads, and cheese. Dinner will be served at Kampu, an intimate and good vibe restaurant (#2 rated restaurant in Urubamba on Trip Advisor), for some Peruvian Asian Fusion food.
Day 6 – Machu Picchu! We will take an upgraded train ride with a Vista dome. Then a bus will be bringing us to the park entrance. The whole day will be spent walking around the ruins, feeling the energy, and receiving a guided tour. We will eat at Agua Calientes, then take the train back home.
Day 7 – Valle Sur: We will visit Andahuaylillas and visit South America's oldest church, nicknamed the "Sistine Chape of America". We will also visit Tipon know for its agricultural terraces, irrigation systems and Inca architecture.
-
Cusco, a city in the Peruvian Andes, was once the capital of the Inca Empire and is now known for its archaeological remains and Spanish colonial architecture.
Day 8 - We will travel to Cusco in the morning, on the way we will go to the Pisac Market for a shopping experience and visit Cochahuasi Animal Sanctuary, (if we are lucky we may see a condor or a puma in rehabilitation). We will be staying at Andean Wings in Cusco for the night. We will visit the famous 12-angled stone , the main square and explore the city of Cusco.
Day 9 – We will start the day visiting the Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, and Tambomachay which are all amazing archeological sites. In the afternoon you can walk around and explore Cusco on your own or have a late lunch with us at the hotel. We will take an airplane back to Lima. We will plan with you for your connecting flights home from the airport.
